At the 8 December 2003 meeting of the American Teleservices Association in New York City, Mr. Smith was moderator of the panel discussion titled "Global Offshoring - Issues, Risks, and Rewards."

On 2 October 2003, Mr. Smith made a presentation "Competing for International Investment" to a delegation of government officials from 16 provinces of Vietnam, during their mission to New York.
